Angiolina, flag sailboat

Angiolina, a 11-metre Gibsea, is the sailboat Marc Mollo, the President of Voiles aux Larges, made available to the organization in order to share his passion with other people who, like himself, had become disabled from accidents.
Although the binnacle is originally designed for ten person Voiles aux Large decided that no more than six people would fit in it, to ensure them safety and comfort.
This sailboat was the first adapted monohull in France. It was designed to allow independant people with disabilities to remain self-sufficient, to steer the boat and to live on board like any other sailors.
People with disabilities can remain self-sufficient on our adapted sailboat and go on several-week cruises.
Accessible toilet, kitchen, bunks, chart table.
A rear skirt designed to rescue a paraplegic person over board and to be used as a swim platform as well.
Those adaptations were designed and carried out by Voiles aux Larges.
All the manoeuvres take place in the cockpit, so few movements are needed to steer the boat.
